The NIS-system consists of a NIS plate made for the NIS ski and the Rottefella binding NNN Racing R4 NIS. The new NIS system allows for quick and easy binding installation directly onto the ski, without screws - simply ”click-on”. The binding is based on NNN technology so that all NNN boots (regardless of age) will fit the binding. Madshus has developed a new ski line specifically for the NIS system.
The NIS plate is installed on the ski during manufacturing, so the plate becomes an integrated part of the ski. The R4 NIS binding easily slides right onto the plate. R4 NIS bindings are available both in Skate and Classic models.
